4. Eligibility
4.1 The Contest is open to Malaysian citizens aged 18 and above at the time of entry.
4.2 The following are not eligible: employees of KyoChon and of its franchise outlets; employees of agencies and suppliers involved in running the Contest; and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings) of any of them.
5. How to Enter
5.1 Dine in at a participating outlet and make a purchase with a final amount paid of RM30 or more, including SST, after any discounts and vouchers, on a single receipt (a “Qualifying Receipt”).
5.2 Scan the QR code printed on the receipt and complete the entry form in full, including a clear photo of the full receipt (image file, maximum 1MB) and your answer to the contest question “Who would you take to Seoul and why?” in no more than 25 words. Uploading the receipt photo requires signing in to a Google account.
5.3 Each Qualifying Receipt earns one (1) entry, regardless of the amount spent above RM30.
5.4 Only one entry is allowed per table or dining session, regardless of how many receipts are issued for that table. If more than one entry is submitted for the same table or session, only the first valid entry counts.
5.5 Each receipt may be used for one entry only. Later submissions of the same receipt will be rejected.
5.6 There is no limit on the number of entries a person may submit from separate dining visits.
5.7 Takeaway, delivery, catering and online orders do not qualify, even though the QR code may appear on those receipts.
5.8 You must keep the original receipt until 7 January 2027. Shortlisted entrants and winners may be asked to show it.
5.9 Incomplete, incorrect, unreadable (including blurred or cropped receipt photos), late or ineligible entries will be rejected. KyoChon is not responsible for entries lost or delayed because of network or technical problems.
6. Winner Selection
6.1 This is a contest of skill. For each Draw, KyoChon will shortlist ten (10) entries at random from all eligible entries in the pool and verify each against its sales records. Entries that cannot be verified will be replaced by further random selections.
6.2 A judging panel of three (3) persons appointed by KyoChon will select the winner from the shortlist based on the best answer to the contest question, judged on creativity, originality and relevance. The panel’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.3 Valid entries that do not win carry forward automatically to every later Draw in the Contest Period.
6.4 Each person may win only once. Once a person wins, all their remaining entries are removed from later Draws.
6.5 KyoChon will keep a record of each Draw and judging decision.
7. The Prizes
7.1 There are four (4) prizes, one per Draw. Each prize is for the winner and one (1) companion and includes:
- economy-class return flights from Kuala Lumpur to Seoul, with 20kg checked baggage per person (airline, routing and flight times at KyoChon’s discretion);
- three (3) nights’ accommodation in one room at a 4-star hotel in Seoul;
- RM1,000 spending money per pair, paid by bank transfer to the winner; and
- group travel insurance for the winner and companion for the trip.

8.4 The winner may change the companion before that companion’s ticket is issued. After that, if the companion cannot travel, the companion’s portion is forfeited without compensation.

12. Disqualification
12.1 KyoChon may disqualify any entry or entrant, or withdraw a prize, if it reasonably suspects fraud, a tampered, duplicated or borrowed receipt, multiple identities, automated entries, or an answer that is offensive, copied or not the entrant’s own work.
13. Liability
13.1 To the extent permitted by law, KyoChon is not liable for any loss, injury, delay or damage arising from the Contest or the prizes, including acts or omissions of airlines, hotels and other third parties.
